Love
Love was released on 13 April 2001 as the promotional single from Anouk's compilation album Lost Tracks. Unlike most previous Anouk singles, the release was limited to a simple cardboard sleeve containing only the title track, without additional songs or alternate versions.
Because Lost Tracks mainly consisted of B-sides, rare recordings and previously unreleased material, Love received a smaller promotional campaign than the major singles from the Urban Solitude era. The single version was recorded as a stripped-down acoustic arrangement, featuring guitar by Erik Hofland (Dyzack) and piano played by Anouk herself.
No videoclip was produced for the single. The cover photograph was taken by Joseph Voncken during the AA Tour, with sleeve design by Peters-Moest'l-Saglia. Despite the understated release, Love reached number two on the Dutch Tipparade.
