Everything
In October 2002, Everything was released as the first single from Anouk's then-upcoming album Graduated Fool. The single was released only in a cardboard sleeve and contains three tracks: Everything, Everything (Acoustic), and Everything (Instrumental).
The acoustic version of Everything is the B-side of the single. Anouk is accompanied on this version by Lex Bolderdijk, who had also played guitar on her debut album Together Alone from 1997.
For her short performance at Noorderslag 2002, Anouk brought Lex with her. Together they performed three songs: Hail, Who Cares, and Michel. When Lex could not get his guitar in tune, he clearly called out "shit". The pregnant Anouk responded: "Take it easy, we have plenty of time."
In the video clip, Anouk can be seen in a psychiatric institution. The clip was later included on the reissue of the Lost Tracks DVD. Although Everything did not become one of her major signature hits, it still performed respectably in the Netherlands, reaching number 12 in the Dutch Top 40. It became the most successful single from Graduated Fool and served as a strong preview of the album's heavier, guitar-driven rock sound.
