I Don't Wanna Hurt
On 25 January 2008, I Don't Wanna Hurt was released as the second single from Anouk's album Who's Your Momma. After the swinging and jazzy Good God, this second single showed a softer side of the album.
The single was released as a 3-track CD single in a cardboard sleeve. Besides the title track and an instrumental version of I Don't Wanna Hurt, it also includes a remix of the first single Good God by The Anonymous.
Even before its official release, I Don't Wanna Hurt had already become popular among fans. The song was shared on Anouk's MySpace page and was also available through download stores such as iTunes.
Unfortunately, no music video was made for I Don't Wanna Hurt. Despite this, the single performed well in the charts and became one of the successful releases from the Who's Your Momma era.
