For Bitter or Worse

In January 2010, For Bitter Or Worse was released as the third single from Anouk's album For Bitter Or Worse. Unlike the previous singles from the album, no physical CD single was released; it was made available as a digital download only.

The digital single contained only the album version of For Bitter Or Worse, without any additional tracks or remixes.

A music video was made for the song, featuring Anouk together with her family. This gave the video a personal and intimate feel, fitting the emotional tone of the track.

For Bitter Or Worse was also used as the title song for the Dutch film De gelukkige huisvrouw, starring Carice van Houten. For the film, a modified version of the music video was created, containing scenes from the movie.
