Three Days in a Row
Three Days In A Row was released as the first single from Anouk's album For Bitter Or Worse. The single was released as a 2-track CD single in a cardboard sleeve, featuring the title track and a Terilekst remix featuring Unorthadox.
Among all of Anouk's many hits, Three Days In A Row became a real milestone: it was her first number 1 hit in the Dutch Top 40. This is especially notable because even her breakthrough single Nobody's Wife never reached the top spot.
The music video premiered on TMF on 17 August and was directed by Kenneth Hope. In a making-of video, Hope explained that he tried to create a modern remake of the video for Anouk's earlier single Michel. The clip shows Anouk in front of a white background, with images of the singer projected behind her.
The video also features the same man who appeared alongside Anouk in the video for Michel. This gives the clip a personal connection to Anouk's past: she had first met rapper Unorthadox during the recording of the Michel video, and by the time Three Days In A Row was released, the two were in a relationship.
