You & I

About the single

On 21 February 2014, You & I was released as a standalone single, a track Anouk recorded together with Afrojack (Nick van de Wall) at the end of 2013. It was later included on Anouk's ninth studio album Paradise and Back Again (2014).

Anouk announced the release herself: "Good morning! Today I'm releasing my new single You & I. I wrote this song last year with Afrojack. The video was created by Janneke de Jong, together with dancer/choreographer Dwight Cheuk A Lam (a.k.a. mr Rebels). I had seen a video of him on YouTube that I really liked and therefore asked him to create a choreography on You & I. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do :)"

You & I became Anouk's 30th Dutch Top 40 hit, reaching number 28 in the Top 40 and number 4 in the Single Top 100.
