About the single

On 7 October 2016, Burn was released as the first single from Anouk's album Fake It Till We Die, released two weeks later on 21 October 2016.

Two days ahead of the release, Anouk teased the song on Instagram with a video of herself lying on the floor with her cat Aap, trying out a new selfie stick: "I thought I'd try it out with Aap... I thought I'd let you hear a bit, see if you liked it." The official music video followed the morning after the single's release.

Burn was released as a digital download only. No physical formats are known, and the release contained just the single track.
