There is no more rock on this seventh album by Anouk. As on the predecessor, the Swede Tore Johansson is responsible for the production. The album sounds like a remarkably cheerful and positive album. But if you delve further into the lyrics, you end up in the emotional cesspool that Anouk found herself in while writing.
"Unorthadox" gets a blast on Killer Bee and Down & Dirty, while Anouk is extremely vulnerable in the songs Save Me, I'm A Cliché and Better Off Alone. In this way To Get Her Together becomes separate from the high-quality production and a legion of fantastic background singers.
